Oak Island, Royston & Domme

For those of you who follow The Curse of Oak Island on the History Chanel, you will be pondering the meaning, relevance and dating of the lead cross found at Smith’s Cove in 2017.

I have my own theories on this, of course…  But science and dating will take precedence ultimately over a theory.  I’ve also included, below, a video filmed last July 2017 on the Nolan Cross and it’s connection to the Jolly Roger.

In my prior blogs on the discoveries by the team of Oak Island, I discussed the Tree of Life, the Domme prison carvings and lightly touched on their connections to Royston Cave.

The carvings at Royston’s underground, bell-shaped cave, share an artistic resonance with the Domme graffiti by Templar prisoners, discussed in earlier blogs.  The crucifix at Domme bears an uncanny symmetry to the cross found at Smith’s Cove.

Medieval Cross Found at Smith’s Cove, Oak Island & Domme Graffiti – History Channel

Royston Christ

Crucifix Graffiti at Royston Cave by Gretchen Cornwall

Royston Cave is artificial and under an ancient Roman crossing.  Ermine Street (Roman) intersects with the far older, ceremonial Icknield Way, possibly the oldest road in ancient England.  The crossing has been a strategic meeting place for peoples through the centuries.

The Templars also had a preceptory in Baldock, North Hertfordshire 8.5 miles S.E. of Royston Cave which is due north by 55 miles from Temple Church in London which of course is on the great River Thames, leading out to the Channel to France or further destinations.

Many researchers, such as myself, identify Royston with the Templars.  The proximity of Royston and Baldock is fantastic evidence for the connection to the Templars along with the iconic carvings.  A main crossroads of great antiquity, strategy and due north of London, would have been of keen interest to the order.

The Templars were masters of the road and sea, as armed peacekeepers, they could be trusted to escort travelers and their riches, on well-traveled roads.  As bankers, one could trust the Templars to hold on account any funds deposited and retrieve it at the destination using coded receipts.

I may be wrong and the dating will clarify the age of the lead cross, found at Smith’s Cove on Oak Island, but it does appear to myself to be medieval.  I look forward to season six of The Curse of Oak Island for the dating of the cross and whether or not it is actually gold under the lead as was suggested in the Templar Knight special at the end of season five.  My own instincts are that the cross is actually lead and meant to be worn by a hard-working priest/monk.

There is a great deal of skill in the Smith Cove Cross, to give it expression.  It appears to have been created out of a mold as was the practice for the majority of crosses of the period.  Until a match can be found, it is difficult to say if this was a special one-off artisan object or mass produced?  For myself, I believe it to be singular.

Is it possible that one of the skilled Templars who worked on digging the many traps and pit of Oak Island, made the cross for himself during idle moments?  I have come to the conclusion that the Templars were the originators of the Money Pit due to the dating of the coconut fibers found on the island, as being equal to the time period of the Templars.  Perhaps the lead itself will be found to have originated from England or France which makes sense as the evidence is mounting of French and English Templars on secret missions to the New World.

It has been suggested by some that it is too large to wear, but if one studies the jewelry of the middle ages, it is a common size.  Crosses were meant to be seen by others, so that one may be identified easily as a man of the cloth or of faith.  It is actually easier to make larger bold jewelry than small.

The below images are interesting examples of lead-cast pilgrim crosses and their sizes, ranging from crude to very highly detailed.  Dating a cross of this nature is not always easy, hence the large spread of centuries in their descriptions.  The examples of what would be thought of as being Templar in origin are interesting.  The pellets have also been discussed in prior blogs and in my book.  The first explanation is that they represent the Five Wounds of Christ, however, the third cross from the left includes a total of Nine raised coins or pellets and the far right cross, likewise has six pellets.  As mentioned in prior blogs, the Medici used the raised circle in their shield.  The family were patrons of the artists behind the Italian Renaissance and keenly interested in the Art of Alchemy.

Above images and info from:  http://www.ancientresource.com/lots/ancient_jewelry/jewelry_byzantine.html

The Smith Cove Cross is deceptively crude and simple in its casting.  The tilt of the ‘head’ gives it a fluid lifelike moment.  The raised edge down the central beam is intentional.  From the images by the History Chanel, it appears that the raised edge culminates at the base of the cross as a hand coursing downward.  Only higher resolution imaging will be able to identify the ‘hand’ properly.  It appears to be a very unique feature of the cross which I have not come across in other examples, such as those above.

I visited Royston about four years ago and took several photos.  I could not get the following image out of my head after seeing the Smith Cove Cross and decided to review my dormant photo files.

The following photo at Royston Cave is the Hand of God, releasing the Dove of the Holy Spirit.  It is actually quite long, at least 4 feet if memory serves right and hovers over several carvings of people below it.  For clarity, I cropped the figures out.

Hand of God

Hand of God, Royston Cave, by Gretchen Cornwall

I could not help but think of the above image when I saw the Smith Cove crucifix-

Smith Cove Cross

Crucifix found at Smith’s Cove, Oak Island, History Channel copyright

I don’t believe the vertical raised line, traveling from the left side of the crossbar down to the foot of the cross, is an error, but purposefully created by a skilled craftsman or blacksmith.  Without closer examination, this appears to be a hand and has a strong correlation to the Royston Cave carving.  It bears a striking similarity to the Domme Prison crucifix.

Perhaps the same artisan was later imprisoned at Domme?  Perhaps it is a memory of having visited Royston?  Perhaps the cross itself inspired the carvings at Dome and Royston, imparting secret knowledge passed down through the centuries?

But what could this imagery mean?  We often think of doves as gentle beings, but in this instance, I believe it also represents the speed of flight.  Energy…. in other traditions, the Holy Spirit is shown as a lightning strike….

…The powerful energy needed to heal and raise the dead…

In this case, the Resurrection…

The ‘T’ cross of the crucifixion is a simplified version of the Tree of Life.  A method of meditation that many people around the world identify as the anatomy of the human energy body or the soul.

Below is the Lightning Bolt of Divinity, flashing through the top of the head to the foot and revitalizing both the body and imparting greater gifts of insight and skill.

All four images were found on google.  Apologies to the artists for lack of credit.  I’d be happy to amend this if known…

Two Templar Maps

Two Templar Maps

Third blog in a series, connected to The Curse of Oak Island, History Chanel

My own research intersects with the discoveries in Nova Scotia, outlined in my book:

The Secret Dossier of a Knight Templar of the Sangreal.

The Matrix Map

The Obelisk map below is only one part of a global map I was given ten years ago now, by a British Templar descendant.  It is validated by the Zena Halpern map and vice-versa; the two maps intersect with Talmont Castle exactly and also within 18.5 miles of Rochefoucauld Castle.

La Rochelle is south, down the coast from Talmont.  It indicates that my Templar contacts ancestors knew of Oak Island and at some point were possibly conspirators with the Rochefoucauld family.

Caldbeck Cumbria, Cold Beck & Kolbec, Nova Scotia

It is possible that the Templars of Caldbeck in Cumbria, (Keystone of the Matrix Map), were on Oak Island before the Rochefoucauld voyage of 1347 and may have been related or with common knowledge, shared through the Templar network.

“Caldbeck and Caldbeck Fells are worth all England else…”  Queen Elizabeth I

X marks the spot directly on the Altar of Saint Kentigerns or Saint Mungos,

Caldbeck Cumbria NY 325 400 Ordnance Survey Grid Reference

The Templar network fractured after the Order was criminalized by the King of France.  Once Templars settled into their new host nations or stayed where they were, they became separated by political interests, but their traditions were handed down through the centuries.

Why is the Matrix Map Relevant?

It came out of the hands of a modern-day Templar Priest…

First and foremost, the Templars were Priests, Spiritual matters were the priority.  The Templars are also Cistercians with swords, they are cousin Orders…  Both Orders were created by the same brilliant man, Saint Bernard de Clairvaux.

All that they touched was anchored in the Realm of Spirit through Practicality on Earth.  Divine Will, focused through the sword for peace and protection.

We have bodies that need to be tended through food, sleep, happy work-life balance and stewardship.  The Templars lived communally and shared their knowledge within their lay-brother program, helping to spread their form of worship to the secular classes.  It’s changed over the centuries, but the Templars are still with us today.

Spirit is Practical as we must be inspired with hope to live.  All life is Spirit based, first, with physical expression, second; Flowing down from the Divine Mind of God through the Tree of Life to give us Life on earth.  Our immune systems respond to hope where self-healing can take place and extra energy may be drawn from…  That hope stems from our direct connection with the All That Is…  We are all directly connected, but some listen with a bit more clarity than others…

Our own life force energy is sustained by the All.  Without it, we cease to exist.  The Templars know this…  We are here to experience separateness and learn, it is actually quite the cosmic joke, as we are never separate.  We’ve just forgotten…

Emanation of Creation streaming down through the Spheres of the Tree of Life to Earth and within the human being.

Templars would absorb knowledge from anyone, regardless of religion or background.  This was used against them during their Inquisition trials of 1307-1314.

The above is the long and short of it as to why the following is important.  So, if you can’t grasp the above, you won’t grasp the below.  But I hope you’ll come with me anyway…

If you are struggling with these concepts, don’t worry, just step back and try to remember that this is the mindset of a hereditary priesthood, that value this so highly that they would pass this down to their children through the centuries.

arkThe unseen energy of earth is directly attached to sacred-mathematics. Our ancestors in the ancient world harnessed and focussed earth energy, shaping civilization itself.  Using it to understand astronomy.  Notice in the Bible, the directions to build an Ark were very specific….  Cathedral building was very specific.

Math is important and sacred as it describes the divine nature of ourselves and surroundings.  Harmonising technology with math, sacred geometry and the energy of earth, will move mountains.

Obelisk and Tree of Life

Tree of life and a Stelae from Ethiopia

The above images are at the heart of the wisdom tradition for the Templar Knight Order & the rebirth of the awakened human being and their counterpart locations on earth.

The Obelisk is the practical expression of the Spirit focused on earth.  A Christianised version of this is the church tower.  That is why Templars were so involved with medieval church and cathedral building projects. They were creating Earth-Spirit-Lines that they could tap into for knowledge and revitalization.

The Obelisk out of Egypt mirrors the human spine and is the central pillar of the Tree of Life.  An Obelisk focuses energy from the earth, upward and contains it as does the human spine.

The Obelisk is capped by a pyramid to create a focal point for the energy.  It is as ancient as the human being, if not more so, as all sentient life follows a repeatable central nervous system.  It is the key to intelligent life.  And…

…The knowledge of the central nervous system is the key to enlightenment.  It was given to us so that we may communicate with the Great Divine.  The Obelisk and Tree of Life are the tools of practice and instruction for Enlightenment.

Enlightenment is the stage where communion with the All that Is takes place…

An Obelisk collects local energy up a monument in the same way that a large pyramid functions and creates a city, national or global network.

Earth energy can be focused along veins that can be tapped and directed or created.

Back to the map…

At the time that I was shown the Matrix Map, I was slightly concerned about the S.E. corner of the trans-Atlantic Obelisk (Erasmus Obelisk) not connecting exactly with La Rochelle.   But after seeing the Zena Halpern Map, I can appreciate why this is…  It was meant to include Talmont and Rochefoucauld…

Left to Right: Talmont – La Rochelle – St. Cybardeaux (45°45’45.45″N by 0° 0’0.00″E) Rochefoucauld. The yellow line is the Prime Meridian *

One must remember that the Bible is full of codes and number play.  The Templars would have sought to express this in the landscape.

Erasmus or Base of Matrix Map over UK

The Matrix Map dovetails with the Ordnance Survey Map of Great Britain, a mathematical impossibility.  Note Dover at 325 400, Royston Cave at TL 325 400, these are just a few Templar locations; the others may be found in my book.

Both Caldbeck and Rosslyn also intersect with the Ordnance Survey Map.  How is this possible?  We are dealing with synchronicity and the mind of God through the principle of Emanation as outlined in the Tree of Life as explained above, pun intended.  There are no accidents, there are no coincidences…

In Rosslyn Chapel, a large graffiti mark was found in the crypt, author Ashely Cowie believed it to measure significant places in Scotland.

The Comte, my Templar contact, believes it is much more than that…  it is a navigational tool.  One of many that the Templars used down the centuries.  If we take it on board as such, we can see the relevance immediately.

1. Washington Monument  2. Newport Tower   3. Westford Knight  4. Ross Castle

5. Kolbec Nova Scotia & Roslin Nova Scotia

There are no accidents regarding the spelling of the place names above.  Kolbec, literally means, cold stream and is based out of the Cumbrian dialect, spoken by King Arthur as covered in my book…  It is a localized version of Old English.

The place names of Caldbeck in Cumbria are an intentional match for Kolbec Nova Scotia and also Coldbrook in Canada.  Roslin Nova Scotia is a mirror of Rosslyn in Scotland.  They were so named as to be remembered as significant in the preservation of Templar artifacts and history.  Books and people fade, but placenames and stone stand the test of time.  I was told that Templars fled to Caldbeck in Cumbria after the fateful day of Friday, October 13th, 1307.

The Secret Dossier of a Knight Templar of the Sangreal was published in 2015 in Kindle and again in hardcopy in October of 2016.  Zena’s book followed in 2017 and I was unaware of her until I saw her on Oak Island and then purchased her book.

While this may not help to pinpoint an exact treasure buried centuries ago by the Templars, it does illustrate their mindset.  Understanding a mindset can help to uncover treasures along the way.  It is the ‘WHY’ behind their motives.  The Matrix Map I was given, validates the importance of Oak Island as a Templar repository and the information discovered by Ms. Halpern.

Thank you for your time….

A final note on the Prime Meridian:

*The Prime Meridian that had been established in England in 1721 became accepted as the global P.M. at the International Meridian Conference in 1884 held in the USA.

France continued to use both Rose lines for many decades to follow.  The history of this can be found in my book…  The new Meridian does not invalidate either the Zena Halpern map or my own, as maps must be adjusted to the new lat-long in order to be understood/navigable in the modern context…

“The French Connection”

The S5 E9 O.I. was exciting to watch.  Credible evidence linking Oak Island in Nova Scotia to a French noble family, with ties to the Knights Templar, should make anyone with a pulse, sit forward on their sofa!

You might be interested in my prior (hastily written) blog on this episode, which can be read here.

During the episode, Rick Lagina and co. travel to castle Rochefoucauld to meet the family representative and Curator, Sonia Matossian.

Zena Halpern Map of Oak Island

The map originally appeared in a book written by Zena Halpern. The Templar Mission to Oak Island and Beyond.  ISBN 9781544744513 See Part IV page 259

While the cast of the documentary decoded the phrases in the upper right corner, I decided to have a look at the lower right corner of the map.  To my knowledge, it had yet to be deciphered.

There are two lines of text:

Lower right corner, from the Zena Halpern Map

The translation reads as “the Indians from the south work well”

And, “the little lion of Talmont”

The difficulty in translating the text is that it appears to be based on old French and not a modern usage of it.  Alternately, my friend who lives in France suggested that it might be someone who uses French as a second language.  The author of the map is perhaps able to speak it with far more accuracy than to write it, which is another ballpark.  The map and associated documents that appear in the Halpern book, appear to have been copied in the 1970’s from an earlier source.

Briefly, as we’re talking about a transatlantic voyage dated 1347, which is the date associated with the map, knowing that ‘Indians from the south’ are inclined to be friendly is very important.  Calling for backup is not an option in North America at this time.  One needed to know exactly, if possible, what you were getting into with the local peoples!

Thankfully the tribe mentioned were not likely to be violent.  It also indicates prior knowledge; that there is direct understanding of the area.  A prior voyage!  But when?  How often were crossings made?  As far as I’m concerned, voyages since at least the 10th century, from Western Europe, were occurring regularly.  Zena Halpern’s book discusses one voyage, in particular, I recommend reading it.

But who is the “Young Lion of Talmont” – ‘Where’ must be the first clue…

Castle Talmont is on the coast, just north of La Rochelle, where the Templar fleet had been based prior to October 13, 1307.  Proximity is of great significance.

Domme Talmont Paris

Map from Paris to Castle Talmont, Rochefoucauld and Domme prison.  Note La Rochelle just south of Talmont on the coast.

Talmont castle was considered strong and able to withstand a siege as it could be supplied from the sea.  Of course, waterways were the freeways for centuries and not a barrier as we consider them today.

Taking the date of 1347 helped rule out Richard the Lionheart (Reign 1189 – 1199) who also owned Talmont, or Talmond Castle, as ruler of the Duchy of Aquitaine via his famous mother, Queen Eleanor of Aquitaine.

I had another look at the ownership of the castle during 1347 and there is indeed a ‘Lion’ and in this case, ‘little’ is actually a reference to age, ‘young’.  In other words, the Lion did something noteworthy when he was a young warrior.  Training for knighthood began in pre-teens.  There are accounts of boys as young as eight fighting in battle with their fathers.

After Richard I died, the castle passed to the Mauleons and with no male heirs, it then passed through marriage to the Vicounts of Thouars.

The Young Lion of Talmont

Louis I de Thouars, the Young Lion of Talmont was born in 1310 and died 1370, carrying ‘…the full arms of Thouars’.  He is also within living memory of the Knights Templar, the Order having been criminalized in 1314 by King Phillip.

Lord Thouars engaged in the Battle of Poitiers in 1356 very near his own lands.  Fighting alongside him was Sir Aimery de la Rochechouart.  Sir Aimery was from a family branch through marriage to the Rochefoucauld’s in 1295 which produced nine children.  Likewise, the family de la Roche also intermarried with the Rochefoucauld’s.  They all knew each other or were related.  It would be impossible for the Viscounts of Thouars and the Rochefoucauld’s not to have been associated.  Pg. 184 Sir John Froissart’s Chronicles of England, France, Spain, Volume 6

Talmont Seal

Louis I de Thouars – The Young Lion of Talmont

The translation from the book in French where I found his seal:

“Louis I de Thouars, who was viscount from 1333 to 1370, carried the full arms of Thouars Or charged with 139. – Seal of Louis de Thouars, 1338. Flowers [fleur] of azure lily in canton gules. This coat of arms is on his bookmark affixed in 1338 (1094 Archives). It is round, 0.02, (Figure 139), and is very finely engraved; the shield is leaning, stamped with a helmet of face to shutters, crown of a lion between two horns of deer; his legend”

Pg. 214, The History of Archaeology 1892, De La Mayenne

Thouars Seal 2 1378

The Fleur de Lis is also on House Thouars seal, which was first used by Clovis I of the Long Haired Sorcerer Kings, the Merovingian’s.  Later the symbol was adopted as the national emblem of France.

The Fleur de Lis and the Holy Grail

There has been much said regarding the true meaning behind the Holy Grail.  In my own research,  the marriage of Canna was the wedding of Jesus and Mary Magdalene.

The priest-kings, the Merovingian’s, have become the flashpoint for this lineage.  Instead of the Grail actually being a cup, the old French translation of Holy Grail actually reads as ‘Sangreal’ or Royal Blood.  The cup is the perfect anatomical symbol for the line of kings, a direct representation of the womb of its ancestress, Mary Magdalene.

The male equivalent of this iconography would be the Fleur de Lis.

According to legend, King Clovis I was given the symbol of the Fleur de Lis by his wife, Queen and Saint, Clotilde (475-545).  She had been inspired to give him the emblem of three fleur de lis for his shield by an angel.  The number three is a possible reference to the number of children from Jesus’ own marriage.

The fleur de lis has been incorrectly explained as either a lily or an iris.  If I may be so bold here, a two-dimensional representation of the symbol is rather ‘male’ in its attributes.  It is the perfect pairing to the Holy Grail.  Male and Female.  And boldly hidden in plain sight.  ‘God the father’, certainly takes on a new meaning here…

All Templar knights had to be from a noble family, this rule was written in their bylaws.  The imprisoned man would have been related to the powerful Medici family.

The stylized Fleur de Lis was adopted by the powerful Medici family of Florence centuries before, whose coat of arms has always been a mystery.  I cover the subject in my book, The Secret Dossier of a Knight Templar of the Sangreal

The floriated Fleur de Lis is a distinction to the French variation.  In plain English, they miniaturized the Fleur de Lis as a triangle, with branches flowing off the main center icon.  In other words, a pictorial reference to a secret family tree flowing back the Royal House of David.

Medici ‘balls’ or ‘coins’ – I believe this to be a reverse the ‘pellets’

The Medici Fleur de Lis denotes a family tree springing from Jesus and MM.  The city of Florence uses the device as its coat of arms due to the very influential family that ruled it.

The Medici’s brought about the Italian Renaissance through art, architecture, science.  They were the patrons behind Leonard da Vinci, Botticelli and Fra Angelico to name a few.  They were popes, dukes and their daughters married the kings of Europe.  But perhaps more interesting, they were a powerful banking family!  It’s hard to miss this connection as the Templars were also astute bankers, having developed systems which carried into Switzerland.

It celebrates the wedding of Ferdinando I de’Medici, Grand-Duke of Tuscany, and Christina of Lorraine, in 1589.

Note the two different Fleur de Lis on Ferdinando’s wedding coat; one is the French version and the other is the Medici.  The Medici family were granted use of the French symbol as they were sworn allies and Catherine de Medici (1519-1589) became the Consort Queen of France to Henry II.

Note the image of the floor of the Duomo Cathedral of the Medici coat of arms and the Templar cross within the triple circles of eternity.  The triangle, of course, can be recognized as a symbol of Freemasonry.  The alternating circles represent ‘punched’ coins.  It is a heraldic device where the center of the coin is punched out.  I believe this ties in with Zena’s pellets and the indents found in Templar graffiti marks and also is a code for the Cross of Jerusalem, as discussed in the S5E9 of O.I.

…  Back to the Young Lion of Talmont…

Viscount, Louis I de Thouars would have been about 37 years old in the year 1347.

The battle of Calais, the main city port on the northwest coast of France, was raging from 1336 through to 1347 against Edward III who finally took it.  The important city remained in English hands until 1558.  As an aside, the Scots sent troops to the French to fight the English at this battle.

Calais would have been out of reach for the French considering a transatlantic voyage.  Not that there weren’t other ports in France but southern Talmont just makes sense.

In order to keep the journey a secret, it is likely that the Rochefoucauld’s would have formed an alliance with the Viscount Thouars and used the castle and its harbor as a staging point.

Note the fish next to the name across the bottom of Zena’s map.  I believe the fish in this context, indicates the harbor of Talmont Castle.  The castle is now 4 miles inland which probably happened about 400 years ago in the 1600s.  Of course the fish also has Christian connotations.  But this is not the typical Christian fish symbol.  It is too complicated with the extra fin and eye.  Christians would create an arc in the dirt or in the palm of someone they would meet on the road.  If a reverse arc was responded with, the two would know they shared the same faith.

It’s difficult to know at this point if the Viscount went on the voyage with the Templars or remained in France.  He was under house arrest after the loss of Poitiers in 1356.  But in years prior, it is possible he sailed to the new world with his Templar compatriots.

It is exciting to find the real men and women driving the events that took place in 1347 and a clearer, greater picture of the need to find a haven on Oak Island, Nova Scotia.

The Templars fled to safe ports in multiple countries in Europe, including England.  The political divides must have become an increasing source of hardship for the once neutral Templar brothers, now possibly facing each other in conflict across borders.

Many questions remain as to the people involved and the nature of the objects hidden on the island.  I look forward to discovering more and sharing it…

Oak Island & British Templars

I watched, stunned tonight, as the latest installment of the Curse of Oak Island aired in the USA at 9 pm Pacific Time.  Was anyone else seeing what I had?
Researcher Doug Crowell traced the history of the name that appears roughly scrawled, in the right hand upper corner of the Zena Halpern map, which appeared in the Curse of Oak Island on November 22 2016.

Zena Halpern Map

‘Rouchefoucauld’ is an ancient medieval family of lords, barons, dukes, princes and also comtes.  The French noble line has ties to the Holy Land, the Templars and of course Nova Scotia, Oak Island!
Rick Lagina, his nephew and friend, flew to  France to meet the ancestress of the noble family in a fabulous castle no less.  Certainly all the ingredients of a great work of fiction, but this is quite real.
After corroborating Templar familial links with the grand lady of the Rouchefoucauld family castle, the cast met with a Mr. Jerry Glover, a Templar historian at Domme castle, an infamous prison.
The Lagina party were given a tour of Domme castle where many Templars were imprisoned in 1307 through 1314.  Of great import were many graffiti marks which grabbed my attention and is the main reason for this rather hurried blog.
There were two main connections from Domme and my own research; a photograph I’d taken a few years ago and also a correlation to a British Templar location.
The graffiti marks of Domme prison castle were of similar design and execution to that of Royston Caves in England!
I would like to suggest that the graffiti of Domme Castle was cut by a hand that had visited Royston in England.  Astonishing that the images cut into the soft chalk walls of the cave in England are sympathetic for those of Domme Castle.  The images are highly stylized with similar naive tendancies.
I visited Royston and took many photos, I’ve chosen a few below to share with you.  In comparison, please see my, rather dreadful photos off the tv from the History Chanels airing of O.I. Season 5 Episode 9 on January 2, 2018.

Royston is an underground bell shaped cave at the crossroads of Royston England.  Lost for centuries until it was rediscovered in the mid 18th century.  The carvings resemble a dense forest of closely packed Biblical stories, some very well executed and others quite clumsy.  Replete with Templar symbols and the ever present sword.

The French and English Templars were not strangers to each other and would find their posts in either kingdom.  Traveling to brother preceptories was expected.  I have not seen this particular style of carving at Domme, elsewhere, and believe the resemblance is too strong not to be connected with Royston.
Perhaps as an aside, but still of interest to myself…  I was a bit non-plussed to hear the theories regarding the carvings at Domme Castle.  I am 98% certain that the graffiti was carved using knives and not teeth which was the suggestion by prior historians.
I would be surprised that a stonemason of today would endorse the idea that imprisoned Templars used their teeth to carve sacred images and codes.
The castle was built out of hard stone after all and it would have been a messy, impossible business to force a carving out of the wall with ones face pressed against it, causing painful damage to ones teeth.  Unless the poor soul had his teeth pulled and handed back?  Gruesome indeed.  However the carvings are too complex for a small and brittle instrument such as a tooth.
It appeared from Mr. Jerry Glover’s demeanor that he doubted the tooth theory as well, as he shrugged his shoulders while explaining the carving by teeth theory to the Lagina party.
Certainly, the Templar prisoners lived in dreadful conditions, but as noble sons, higher ranking knights may have been afforded a few meagre privileges?
I theorize short knives were given to the higher ranking knights by their captors, as a curtesy.  Prisoner graffiti by knife is common in Europe.
The Templars valued wisdom and would speak with anyone who would share their knowledge.  This was a dangerous way to operate in the Middle Ages when it was popular to persecute anyone of a different faith in Europe.  The following image is one of many from the Domme Castle prison.  It is a depiction of the Cabalistic tree of life.  The carving is not the only evedence of shared Judaic knowledge having been adopted into Templar mysticism, but it certainly confirms it.
During the episode the team over-layed the Tree of Live over the Domme graffiti:
Other researchers of the Oak Island mystery have suggested that the Nolan Cross is a Tree of Life:
The Nolan Cross on Oak Island is comprised of large dome shaped boulders which have been moved into place and carved to resemble bee hives.  The central stone is carved into the shape of a skull.

This striking image of the Domme graffiti reminded me sharply of the St. Martin Tower graffiti in the Tower of London, possibly carved by the last Grand Master of England, William de la More.
On page 113 of The Secret Dossier of a Knight Templar of the Sangreal, I have what may be the only photograph of the St Martin Tower graffiti from the Tower of London complex.  I took the photo during high tourist season, paid my entry fee and dashed to the St. Martin Tower, past the huge lines waiting to see the Crown Jewels.

The following is a video that I had not intended to release to the public in its current form nor have had time to edit down for this blog.  It was a greeting and informational exchange for author Zena Halpern, outlining my own research which I believe connects with her own.  A video was the easiest way of explaining some of the issues around the above carving.  The video brings in other elements around the carving of St Martin Tower and my Templar contact who is descended from the Medici family.  I’ve chosen to post the video here after having viewed tonights episode of O.I.

My own photo is hauntingly similar, as if the two prisoners, one in castle Domme and the other in the Tower of London, had complimentary and dangerous knowledge.
I believe the graffiti mark from St Martin Tower depicts the Chi Rho, an early symbol of Christianity prior to the use of the Latin cross.  Though not a tree of life image in itself, it is a sacred, alchemical and magical emblem which I will describe in greater length another time.

The left hand image is from the ever handy Wiki and the photo on the right is my own.
I’d like to point out that the two carvings, though separated by kingdoms and prison cells have sympathetic qualities of style, using the image of the sword as a cross and also a way to depict knowledge in geometric form.
The indents which resemble the point of a knife or sword, are based in medieval codes, possibly Cistercian and were eventually adopted by the Medici in their shield. The ‘pellets’ are not just decorative but have meaning.  The Domme carvings have plain indents but also small crossed indents on their Tree of Life.

The Medici shield and its mysterious ‘balls’ which I believe are reverse ‘pellets’. Please see the video for further explanation.
It is near to 3 am now and this tired author must draw a line under this post.  I will be following up soon with more around the topics raised above.  Until then, I hope you’ve had a wonderful and happy Holiday Season.
